Background
- Globally, over 750m lack access to safe water
- More than 2.5 billion lack access to adequate sanitation facilities
- At least 1,400 children die each day from diarrhea diseases caused by unsafe water
- Rotary WASH projects give vulnerable communities the ability to own sustainable water, sanitation & hygiene systems
Project Objectives
Improving the quality of life of orphans and vulnerable children in Buremba by;
- Providing safe drinking water
- Providing toilets & hand wash facilities
- Promoting good hygiene conditions

- Drilling and installation of solar water pumps

- Basic hygiene(menstrual health for young girls)
- Training girls on how to make reusable menstrual hygiene kits
